Look how the associates just make excuses to mask the problem. I wonder if Petco spent as much time providing proper animal care training as they did damage control and denial techniques would we still see videos like this?
I will admit the video does seem to be at least a year or two old, but if you check the source (YouTube) you will see a very active line of recent comments that show customers are still having these experiences.

I work for PETCO and it is important to know that the Channel 5 news report was from five years ago. Since then, the company has improved its animal-care policies and protocols. We have a full-time vet directing the animal-care program and we have field leaders charged with the responsibility for evaluating animal-care activities in each store to prevent the types of situations that Channel 5 reported.
If you go to the source of the video (YouTube) you will see comments as recently as this week regarding the continued failure to care for these animals at various Petco's throughout the nation. I am sure there are individual examples of proper care, but as a collective YOU SUCK!
